Pimlico Racing
Over the past two decades, Nathaniel Barnett has managed two of the leading racing syndicates in the UK, Ireland and France, including black type winners on the flat and over jumps.
Pimlico Racing has National Hunt and Flat horses in training with top-class trainers across Ireland and the UK and is firmly established as a leading racing syndicate, offering an oustanding ownership experience.
Pimlico Racing is one of the most popular racing syndicates across Ireland and the UK, with a focus on acquiring horses that can take our syndicate owners to the big meetings, both over jumps and on the flat.
Our first three horses to run all won, including two on their first start for us, and we enjoyed our first big success in March 2021, with Zoffany Bay landing a €100,000 Listed contest.
Since then, our tally of winners is well into double figures, with runners at many of the big meetings and a recent Cheltenham winner with Zurich, and we have a burgeoning and talented team to look forward to on the racecourse in 2026.
Our horses in Ireland for 2026 are Becasse, Churchwarden, Chutzpal, Dschingis Dragon, Lureka Du Noyer and Zurich (Henry de Bromhead), Alicious (Willie Mullins), Amina and Something Fabulous (John McConnell). National Hunt 2yo Julius will join Gavin Cromwell later in the year. On the flat, we have River Trieux (Paddy Twomey).
In the UK, our National Hunt horses are Collanisi and Stardhem (Ben Pauling).

Nathaniel Barnett
Manager, Pimlico Racing and Pimlico Racing Ireland
Nathaniel Barnett has been a leading syndicate and racing club manager since 2008, with over 200 winners in that time, as well as an established, successful bloodstock agent.
Nathaniel has a wealth of experience in the industry, having worked as a form advisor for Andrew Balding, as researcher for racing presenter Clare Balding and as assistant trainer to Tim Vaughan, prior to setting up as a bloodstock agent in 2013. He has bought the winners of over 400 races to date, including 2022 Coral Gold Cup (Hennessy) winner Le Milos.
Nathaniel’s recent winners in 2025 included successes on Arc weekend at ParisLongchamp, on French Gold Cup day and in Listed company at Auteuil.
As well as Pimlico Racing, Nathaniel also runs the Kingsclere Racing Club for the Balding family.
Tom Raine

Though a Finance Director by trade, Tom has always had an affinity with horses and before embarking on his current career, he was based as a work rider in the UK for a couple of seasons in 2012/13 working for Tim Vaughan.
He had some work experience at Henry de Bromhead’s and even went on to train a winner himself between the flags in Ireland!
One third of the very popular ‘The Finishing Line‘ racing podcast, Tom is a passionate and knowledgeable fan of the sport and co-manages the running of Pimlico Racing’s Irish-based syndicates.
