Chutzpal

Chutzpal
2019 bay gelding by Markaz (IRE) ex Bridgets Fable (IRE) (Champs Elysees (GB))
Update, December 2025
What a couple of seasons we’ve enjoyed with Chutzpal!
A triple winner in 2024, he returned better than ever this year, finishing third in big-field handicaps at the Curragh and in a Racing League contest in the UK, before winning a €45,000 Premier Handicap at Killarney in August. His final run of the campaign came in the £50,000 Cesarewitch Trial at Newmarket, in which he finished a fine second.
He is currently enjoying a winter break, which did him a power of good last year as well. He’ll be back in pre-training in mid/late December and we’ll look to have him back on the racecourse in March, targeting some valuable handicaps on the flat before then going jumping.
He is a fantastic syndicate horse and 7.5% has become available – he is phenomenal value and highly recommended!

Henry de Bromhead
Having started training at the turn of the millennium, Henry rapidly established himself as a leading force in the National Hunt ranks in Ireland and two decades on, the list of races that have gone the way of the County Waterford-based handler is hugely impressive.
A record-breaking Cheltenham Festival, during which Henry had six winners that included the Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase and Gold Cup, was swiftly followed by a famous 1-2 in the Grand National, providing further evidence of a yard that continues at the very top of its game.
Henry has already trained many winners for us in the Pimlico Racing silks and we are delighted to have four horses in training (Becasse, Chutzpal, Dschingis Dragon and Zurich) with Henry for 2025.
