Amina has Punchestown Festival target
Amina ran an excellent race on her return to action at Limerick earlier this month, finishing runner-up in a useful-looking bumper, and we will now aim her at the 2m3f bumper on Friday of the Punchestown Festival.
Trainer John McConnell feels sure Amina will come on plenty for what was just the second run of her career, having previously finished a fine third on her debut at the Galway Festival last summer.
The well-bred daughter of Zarak has always looked a smart prospect in her work at home and it was great to see her confirm the promise of her debut on her seasonal reappearance, the form of which has already been boosted.
Hopefully she can run a really big race at Punchestown and it should be a great occasion for her owners.
