We’re delighted to introduce Alicious, a beautifully bred three-year-old filly by our favourite stallion Pastorius, purchased at the Tattersalls Store Sale. From day one of the breaking-in process she has shown class, athleticism and a superb attitude, so we’re delighted to have her join the Pimlico team!
Alicious heads into training with Willie Mullins, who also trained the top-rated Pastorius filly, Grade 1 winner Zenta. Willie described Alicious as a “fine, strong filly with a lovely pedigree”.
Her pedigree is packed with quality. She’s a half-sister to Magic Flight, a Listed performer at Auteuil, and West Coast, a smart juvenile rated 135. Dam Larabelle was Graded-placed in France, while the family includes early types such as Paranthese and Grade 1 performer Invitation Only.
Pastorius fillies have a tremendous strike-rate for producing black-type performers, and Alicious has the page to follow in their footsteps. Schone Aussicht and the much-missed Pastorale have already starred for us, so hopefully Alicious will be a third Pastorius filly to shine on the racecourse!
Alicious looks a very forward, athletic type with plenty of class. She’s entered for the big Leopardstown Sales Bumper at the 2026 Christmas Festival, with the longer-term aim of developing into a Graded hurdler. All being well, she will start out in a bumper in Spring 2026.

Unused funds returned to syndicate members
A financial statement is provided to all members every six months. Unused funds are returned to syndicate members, alongside any prize-money won, at the end of each 12-month term.
We are delighted to have Pimlico Racing syndicate horses in training with 17-time Irish National Hunt Champion Trainer Willie Mullins.
Willie needs no introduction. The winning-most trainer at the Cheltenham Festival, he has completed the Irish/British Champion Trainer Championship double in each of the past two seasons.
The roll of honours at Closutton gets considerably longer by the year and we are looking forward to an exciting season ahead with our horses at Willie’s yard.
