Purchased for just £10,000 last autumn by Pimlico Racing’s Nathaniel Barnett, Miakoda has proven to be a tremendous value buy, progressing with every run and giving his syndicate owners plenty to cheer in recent months. His latest success came in great style, travelling strongly before showing a decisive turn of foot in the closing stages under Pat Cosgrave.
