Pastorale on course for Grade 1 at Fairyhouse

Runner-up in the Listed Apple’s Jade at Navan last time to the Cheltenham Festival Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle favourite Brighterdaysahead, Pastorale has been in fine form since and Henry de Bromhead confirmed yesterday that we will be aiming her at the Grade 1 at Fairyhouse at the end of the month.

The Grade 1 Honeysuckle Mares’ Novice Hurdle is a logical target for the five year old, who produced another career best on her third start for Pimlico Racing last time, travelling really smoothly into the contest and finding only an exceptional mare too good.

Now placed on two occasions at Listed level, she deserves a shot at the Grade 1 and it’s such an exciting occasion for all of her owners, so we’re really looking forward to seeing her in action again.
