Racecourses in Ireland

Pimlico Racing Syndicates have several horses in training in Ireland, with leading trainers throughout the country.  Please see below a full list of Irish racecourses.

1. Ballinrobe Racecourse: Right-handed, National Hunt and flat racing Located in County Mayo, Ballinrobe Racecourse hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. The track is right-handed and is known for its unique hill in the home straight, which can make for exciting finishes.
2. Bellewstown Racecourse: Left-handed, National Hunt and flat racing Located in County Meath, Bellewstown Racecourse hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. The track is left-handed and features a long uphill finish that can be very challenging.
3. Clonmel Racecourse: Right-handed, National Hunt and flat racing Located in County Tipperary, Clonmel Racecourse hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. The track is right-handed and features a challenging uphill finish.
4. Cork Racecourse: Right-handed, National Hunt and flat racing Located in County Cork, Cork Racecourse hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. The track is right-handed and is known for its picturesque location near the River Lee.
5. Curragh Racecourse: Right-handed, flat racing Located in County Kildare, the Curragh Racecourse is one of the premier flat racing tracks in Ireland. The track is right-handed and hosts some of the biggest races in Irish horse racing, including the Irish Derby and Irish Oaks.
6. Downpatrick Racecourse: Right-handed, National Hunt racing Located in County Down, Downpatrick Racecourse hosts National Hunt racing. The track is right-handed and is known for its tight turns and uphill finish.
7. Dundalk Stadium: Left-handed, flat racing Located in County Louth, Dundalk Stadium is the only all-weather track in Ireland. The track is left-handed and hosts flat racing throughout the year.
8. Fairyhouse Racecourse: Right-handed, National Hunt and flat racing Located in County Meath, Fairyhouse Racecourse hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. The track is right-handed and is best known for hosting the Irish Grand National, one of the biggest National Hunt races in Ireland.

The track is left-handed and is one of the premier horse racing venues in Ireland, hosting some of the biggest races on the Irish horse racing calendar, such as the Irish Champion Stakes and the Christmas Festival.
