Stardhem wins again at Huntingdon
Chasing has been the making of Stardhem and the six year old made it two from two over the larger obstacles with a ready success at Huntingdon yesterday.
Back at the scene of his first win over fences last month (pictured), he settled well in third under Callum Pritchard, jumped nicely and though he was off the bridle some way from home, he does stay the 2m4f trip very well. Having hit the front shortly after the last, he was well on top at the line and won with his ears pricked.
We’ll see what the handicapper does before making any plans, but Stardhem should make a bold bid for the hat-trick next time and we’ll look for a race in early April for him. Many congratulations to all of his owners!
