Two runners at the Galway Festival!

It has been just over six months since our first runner in Ireland, but we have since built up a really exciting team of horses for the 2021/22 National Hunt campaign and it was fantastic to see two of them in action at the Galway Festival this week.

Schone Aussicht has been a real star since being claimed for just €8,000, winning twice and placing on a further two occasions, and she ran a great race in defeat, battling on well in front and still bang there at the last, before just fading close home to finish fifth of 20.

Runner-up on two of her three starts since joining us, Cottie was contesting her first handicap hurdle and in what was quite a rough race (she stumbled badly just as the pace was quickening), she stayed on well to finish seventh of 20, beaten just 7 lengths.  There are plenty of races to be won with her and she shouldn’t remain a maiden for long.
