Zoffany Bay wins again

Zoffany Bay is proving another bargain buy for Pimlico Racing and the six year old ensured he remains unbeaten in completed starts with a facile success at Fontainebleau in the hands of leading French-based conditional Charly Prichard.

A winner on his debut for us in France, he unseated when favourite at Auteuil on his next outing, but made no mistake yesterday, travelling and jumping well, taking up the running after the second-last and eventually running out a very easy winner.

He looks more than capable of mixing it at a higher level and is now set to head down to the big winter meeting at Pau, where trainer David Cottin has nominated the Pau Champion Hurdle as a possible long-term target.
