Zurich scores at Cheltenham!

Our fast-improving chaser Zurich maintained his unbeaten start to the season with a fine win in the 2m4f novice handicap chase at Cheltenham yesterday.

It was a first Cheltenham winner for Pimlico Racing and a day to remember for us all – it was brilliant to have so many members in attendance to help celebrate!

Zurich is fast developing into the chaser we had hoped he would be and really impressed in the manner of victory, travelling powerfully throughout, challenging at the second-last and powering up the hill in great style under the excellent Darragh O’Keeffe.

Looking further ahead, we would obviously love to see him back at Prestbury Park in March!  In the meantime, we may look at Doncaster in December, or stay closer to home, with options in valuable handicaps at Punchestown and Navan.
