Pimlico Racing trip to the French Gold Cup

We spent a brilliant weekend in Paris for our Pimlico Racing trip to the French Gold Cup.

With members joining us from the UK, Ireland and the USA for a fantastic weekend’s racing, we were treated to brilliant weather, great company and top-class action at Auteuil, the home of jumps racing in France.

We had an interest in the big race, as Pastorale’s half-brother Metasequoia was towards the head of the betting in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris.  Unfortunately, he departed when still travelling well, but hopefully he can make amends next year and further boost our filly’s paddock value!

Alongside our regular stable visits, our next Club event will take place in Ireland this summer, with a picnic and racing at the Curragh.
