Erevann Yearling to Join Joseph O’Brien

Posted September 24, 2026

Another exciting young prospect has joined the Pimlico Racing team with the purchase of a yearling by Erevann out of April Eighteen at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.

The youngster will go into training with Joseph O’Brien in due course and is an exciting addition as we continue to build our string, focusing on quality additions to what is a talented team of young horses across Ireland and the UK.

By Erevann, a Group-winning son of Dubawi, and out of April Eighteen, he combines an attractive pedigree with a lovely physical and he really caught the eye at the sale. He was the first ever yearling by the sire to sell in Ireland and we’re delighted to have acquired him.

He is a horse we are particularly excited about and one we hope can develop into a high-class middle-distance performer for Pimlico Racing.
