February Sale Purchase to join James Owen

We were in attendance at the Tattersalls February Sale, looking to have our first horse in training with Newmarket-based James Owen.

James has made a blistering start in the training ranks this term.  A multiple Champion Arabian Trainer and pre-trainer in recent years for some of the top yards in Newmarket, James has made a big impression on the National Hunt scene and, despite starting with a small string, is currently in the top 25 trainers in the country!

We had a select shortlist and were delighted to acquire our main target of the sale, the four-year-old colt Chindwin.  A 205,000 guineas yearling, he has some decent maiden form in the book, is off a very workable mark and we’re hoping he is the type to run up a sequence of wins in the months ahead.
