Impressive winning Irish debut for Lureka Du Noyer
Lureka Du Noyer became the latest Pimlico success story to be sourced from France when making an impressive winning debut in the purple and gold at Limerick yesterday for trainer Henry de Bromhead.
Sent straight into the lead by Darragh O’Keeffe (view the interview here on Racing TV), the five year old son of Doctor Dino jumped really well and always looked to have the measure of his 17 rivals.
He had some smart form to his name over fences in France and we were delighted to have the opportunity to purchase him over the winter, particularly given he is a full brother to our very own Zurich, who went so close in the Grade 2 at Haydock in April.
We’ll look for a rated novice for him next and, if all goes to plan, he could then head to Galway.
Many congratulations to all of his syndicate owners!
