Ninth Titan impresses at Tramore
Ninth Titan made his second start over hurdles a winning one with an impressive success at Tramore yesterday under Paul Townend.
The six year old had been strongly fancied to make a winning debut over timber at the Galway Festival last year, but picked up a knock there and has been given plenty of time to get back to the racecourse.
Sent straight into the lead, he jumped particularly well in the main and quickened smartly when asked, coming home over 7 lengths clear and without having to be asked too many questions.
Galway could well be on the cards again this year and there are a couple of options for him there – we’ll leave it to Willie and the team as to whether he waits for that or has another run in the meantime.
It’s very exciting to have another really promising novice hurdler for the season ahead and we look forward to seeing him in action again soon. Congratulations to all involved!
