New purchase at the Goffs Land Rover Sale!

We have been on the lookout for a really well-bred filly from the store sales to join Henry de Bromhead and though we didn’t find anything suitable at the Doncaster May Sale last month, I am delighted to write that we have purchased a beautifully-bred filly at the Goffs Land Rover Sale today!

This beautifully-bred filly is a half-sister to three black-type winners in the National Hunt sphere – even better, they are all mares as well!

Mystic Theatre won six of her eight completed starts over hurdles, recording a Racing Post Rating of 146 when scoring by 10L in Listed company, while Morello Royale reached a peak of 142 when scoring at the same level over hurdles at Kempton Park.  Most recently, Castra Vetera was an impressive Listed bumper winner at Navan last season, readily getting the better of a very smart field of mares.

Henry saw her this morning and really liked her, which is obviously a good starting point!  It really is a wonderful pedigree and she looks a lovely prospect for the future.
