Ben Pauling to train for Pimlico Racing in 2022/23

We are delighted to have acquired our first horse with leading National Hunt trainer Ben Pauling.

Now into his 10th season as a trainer, Ben is fast closing in on the 300-winner mark in his career to date.  He is now established as one of the leading young National Hunt trainers in the UK, with top-level successes and multiple winners at the Cheltenham Festival to his name, including in 2022 with Global Citizen.

Ben has recently moved to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built yard in Naunton and his team have started the new season in blistering form, with 16 winners already on the board at a 29% strike-rate.

It is an exceptional training facility and a wonderful place to visit with owners.  Built on the Naunton Downs Estate, it sits alongside a picturesque golf club (run by Ben’s wife Sophie) and there is also an excellent Clubhouse, which is shared with The Fitzdares Cotswolds Club.  Fitzdares are Ben’s yard sponsor and the Club is a fantastic spot for visiting owners.

I am really excited by the prospects of our unraced purchase, a three-year-old store by Alkaadhem, and look forward to bringing our syndicate members to Ben’s yard in the near future.
