Classy Antonin has Listed target after Chelmsford win

Antonin Dvorak took another step forwards with a facile success at Chelmsford yesterday, in doing so booking his ticket for Deauville in November, with the 7f Listed Prix Zedelle the target.

The son of New Bay had won impressively at Musselburgh on his previous start, winning by an eased-down 4.25 lengths, beating a next-time-out novice winner.

He was sent on the long journey to Chelmsford to give him some experience on the AW, as the Zedelle has been in our minds for him for a little while.  He once again broke smartly, travelled strongly in front and had the race in safe keeping some way from home.  Jockey Shane Gray couldn’t have been happier and suggested we should definitely be stepping up in grade now, with the Listed race a very realistic target.
