Hugo Merienne

Hugo Merienne enjoyed a breakthrough season in France in 2022 and is the latest addition to the Pimlico Racing roster of trainers for the year ahead.

He has had several notable successes in the sales ring in his short time as a trainer, including horses realising sums of €300,000 at Osarus and €270,000 at Arqana.

Hugo is now getting the support of some of the biggest owners in French National Hunt racing.  He burst onto the scene at Auteuil this year, training several Graded winners, including a first Grade 1 success with the outstanding juvenile hurdler St Donats.

Our first buy to sell syndicate with Hugo in 2022 was a resounding success and we have now gone into partnership on a lovely filly, Atacama Du Mazet, who will be making her debut in 2023.
