Update, November 2023

The Kalanisi has done everything right in his pre-training with Marcus Foley and the plan is that he will be in full training at Ben’s yard later this month.  There will be an opportunity for prospective syndicate members to visit the yard in December – if you would like to join us, please send an email to nathaniel@pimlicoracing.co.uk.

Update, October 2023

The Kalanisi has come back into pre-training at Marcus Foley’s.  He is doing very well physically and is developing into a particularly strong, impressive type.  His workload will gradually increase over the next month before heading into Ben’s yard.

Update, September 2023

“The Kalanisi gelding is a quality individual and has looked an absolute natural through the breaking-in process, a very good-moving horse for his size and an excellent jumper in his early schooling.  He is now having a short spell in the paddocks, before returning to training at the end of September”

Unraced 3yo by Kalanisi – Ben Pauling trained another son of Kalanisi, Barters Hill, to win the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle, as well as Grade 2 wins over hurdles and in a bumper at Aintree’s Grand National meeting.

Strong, good-moving individual with the physical scope to develop into a fine chaser

Dam placed on multiple occasions at Listed and Graded level over hurdles and fences, and from a classy family

Represents one of the most up-and-coming yards in the UK, with 80 winners in 2022/23

SHARE COSTS

5%: £1,980 upfront then £140 a month from 1st December 2023
10%: £3,960 upfront then £280 a month from 1st December 2023
20%: £7,920 upfront then £560 a month from 1st December 2023

Purchase includes vetting, sales costs and commission, transport and breaking in costs to 30th November 2023.  A financial statement is provided to all syndicate members every 12 months, with unused funds returned to members along with prize-money won.
