Mystic Sage

This beautifully-bred youngster was purchased at the prestigious Goffs Land Rover Sale in June 2021.
A daughter of Sageburg, she boasts an exceptional pedigree, being a half-sister to three black-type performers, all of them mares! Last season’s Listed-winning bumper performer Castra Vetera looks to have a bright future over obstacles, while Mystic Theatre and Morello Royale were both Listed winners over hurdles.
A really athletic individual with the scope to make a lovely chaser in time, she is a high-class National Hunt prospect and a tremendously exciting addition to the Pimlico Racing ranks!
Please see below a video of her being broken in – as you will see, she is a lovely mover!

Henry de Bromhead
Having started training at the turn of the millennium, Henry rapidly established himself as a leading force in the National Hunt ranks in Ireland and two decades on, the list of races that have gone the way of the County Waterford-based handler is hugely impressive.
A record-breaking Cheltenham Festival, during which Henry had six winners that included the Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase and Gold Cup, was swiftly followed by a famous 1-2 in the Grand National, providing further evidence of a yard that continues at the very top of its game.
Henry has already trained several winners in the Pimlico silks and we are delighted to have four horses in training (Coole Arcade, Cottie, Mystic Sage and Pastorale) with Henry for 2023.
